We are having a meeting with the website designer on Wednesday night. We will be discussing all errors and problems that need to be addressed. Hopefully on Thursday we will be running more smoothly. How can I volunteer or become a coach?
We welcome parent volunteers and coaches! You can apply through our Coach Application form. All coaches undergo background checks and receive training. Volunteers can sign up for various roles including scorekeeping, concessions, and event support.
Apply to CoachWhat equipment does my child need to participate?
Players need appropriate basketball shoes, athletic clothing, and a water bottle. VBA provides game jerseys and practice equipment. Some divisions may require additional items which will be communicated before the season.
Read Equipment GuidelinesWhen and where are practices and games held?
Practices are typically held on weekday evenings at our main facility and partner school gymnasiums. Games are scheduled on Sundays and occasionally on Saturday afternoons. A team game schedule is provided before the season begins.

We offer programs for children ages 6-18, divided into age divisions: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18. Each division is designed to provide appropriate skill development and competition.
